Role Overview:
As the Chief of Staff, you will play a critical role in supporting the executive team and enhancing the overall efficiency of the organization. You will be responsible for managing key projects, facilitating communication across departments, and ensuring alignment with SOULCHI's strategic goals. Your ability to coordinate initiatives and streamline operations will help drive organizational success and foster a collaborative work environment. Additionally, you will lead the integration of the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) within SOULCHI, enhancing our organizational structure and operational efficiency. You will be pivotal in fostering external partnerships and driving the achievement of our strategic goals, all while collaborating cross-functionally to ensure our initiatives align with our vision for sustainable growth.

Responsibilities:

  • EOS Integration Leadership: Lead the implementation of the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) meeting framework and cadence within our organization. As the integrator, you will be key in shaping a dynamic and efficient organizational structure.
  • Partnership Development: Utilize your skills in establishing and nurturing external partnerships. Your ability to build strong relationships will be crucial in driving our growth and enhancing our impact.
  • Goal Achievement Strategy: Guide the organization in meeting quarterly Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and annual goals. Your expertise in metrics and problem-solving will be vital in keeping our initiatives on track.
  • Project Management Excellence: Showcase your project management abilities to ensure our initiatives are coordinated and executed effectively. Your capacity to navigate complexities will significantly contribute to project success.
  • Metrics-Driven Insights: Establish and track key performance metrics aligned with our strategic objectives. You will proactively address any areas where metrics fall short of expectations.
  • Strategic Support: Act as a right-hand advisor to the CEO, providing strategic insights and recommendations to guide decision-making and prioritize initiatives. Communication Facilitation: Serve as a liaison between the CEO and other departments, ensuring clear and effective communication of organizational priorities and updates.
  • Operational Efficiency: Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
  • Team Leadership: Support the development of a high-performing team by fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Confidentiality Management: Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the role.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Chief of Staff or in a similar executive support role, ideally with experience in an equity-based or startup environment.
  • EOS Expertise: Proven experience in implementing the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) or similar frameworks, demonstrating a strong understanding of organizational dynamics.
  • Project Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, utilizing project management methodologies and tools to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Metrics and Analytics: Strong analytical skills with a track record of establishing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and drive decision-making.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
  • Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating exceptional interpersonal skills.

Equity-Based Compensation Opportunity:

As part of the SOULCHI team, you'll take part in our equity-based compensation model, aligning your success with the success of our business. After much research, we have found the fairest equity model for a startup. We use the Slicing Pie model. The first phase is equity-based only, which we are currently in. Equity calculations move dynamically based on your fair market rate and actual number of hours worked. In the second phase, which happens at the break-even point, the equity freezes at each member's current earned percentage, and compensation switches to salary + benefits. Your equity percentage gets paid out annually as part of the profit sharing. This is more than a job; it's an opportunity to own a piece of the future.
